Mimi With the Red Umbrella Once a young French girl stole my heart and ran away to Paris without me, I was young too and knew what to do, I went to Paris too, I found her sitting in a Little Parisian café along the way to see the Eiffel Tower on a rainy day we proceeded to the Eiffel Tower together walking quicky in increment weather, both seeking safety under her red umbrella, we both got wet, it was a small umbrella, she laughed at me and said I looked like a wet rat, I smiled at her and said she looked like a sexy cat, time progressed as we shared our first summer having lots of fun in Paris rain and Paris sun, we were a match for about a year I'll say, everyday we'd laugh and play until one day Pierre stole her heart and Mimi took her red umbrella and went away. Gotta watch those red umbrellas, James. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Such a colorful poem. Sounds like a day you never wanted to end. |

Well you found her and shared moments even for a while - those you can keep and treasure. Like the phrase..better to have loved and lost...etc...Maybe in another time, who knows. |
