Gathering stones while waiting on pearls. Feet propped, eyes closed, letting the stream of conscious flow. Panning for gold on the side. Sluicing for glittering flakes in the black sands of my mind. Got the fever for a nugget I may never find. The words swirl together, sift and shine. When lightning strikes they all fall in line. And pearls appear where the stones pile high. LGR(C)3/23/18 |

Some of the hardest thoughts occur in easy chairs. Pearls? Gold? Rocks? Stones? While you're "feet are propped" and your "eyes closed"... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQ4dTqsZbVA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK5N6iPLrEs ...just bein' Bluesy |
