Forever (for her) Softly through these Southern Pines the first Spring moon arrives without pretense. Here beside this deep lake of dreams, painted in gently rippling moonlight, my mind and heart are free of all worldly shadows. To what may I compare this life? It is as the trackless, vanishing wake of a tiny boat floating empty and Time-abeyant or the ever rolling clouds; yet a lovely dream of Spring and you comes always like a mist that is not a mist and remains forever. --- b. e. adams (2/18/2017) |

This poem is full of wonderment and love. To look forward to the soon-to-come springtime is to fill your heart, and your readers hearts with optimism. Today I was just thinking about such a thing also, but in a different sort of way. Your poetry touched me, Bruce. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

thank you very much, JP ! Sadly ... it has absolutely no (positive) effect on the actual person it is written to, for, and about ... |
