Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Spring gave us a tease.
She whispered warm to please.
She shimmered in sunny delight.
Winter doldrums were set to flight.
The wind was with her as always,
blowing birds and bees different ways.
And following behind was a little rain,
just enough to wet the window pane.
Spring gave us a taste we want to linger.
but it will take a month to bring her
to stay every day.

This was skillfully penned, Miss Lori.
You're not only a keen Kansas observer, but you interpret and translate your surroundings with the beauty of an Audobon painting.

Superb!
Spring? Bring it on!

Perhaps that's because it's what's outside that's coming in on a breeze that you process better and then send back out in words than it is what's inside that's being processed and metered according to one inhibition or another, some of which is no one elses' beeswax, finally finding its way to the outside.

...Maybe

Pay no attention to this, Miss Lori, unless you're really bored. Then just read it as fast as you can several times over.
