I can't blame this all on you It would be easier So much easier To add this all to your account To subtract The sum total From my balance And add it all to yours But I won't I will not absolve you Of the pain you caused Or the responsibility For the course you set my life upon But if After all this time I'm still running the same track Then I have to conclude That it was my choices That held my feet to this path It would be easier So much easier To add all these years And my choices To your balance But I won't Because if I insist on filling This onerous And undignified role of Accountant For Sins Against Then least I can do Is keep accurate records And if it's blame I'm summing for the total of I've found that there is plenty of that To go around I think our capacity for wholeheartedness can never be greater than our willingness to be broken-hearted."
