when I remember my father (adopted) I wouldn’t have to use that disclaimer if I’d been told the truth when I asked still, he was a good man she was the one who lied, he just nodded my memory of him he always has a brown paper sack carried it to work with him for a snack Sam Lee Bolton worked many hard hours at the International Paper Company but I think he ‘d rather been there than have to come home to her I used to stare at his calloused hands and wonder if his heart was just as calloused good lord it would have had to be ©June 19, 2014 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
