My entire life I've waited for someone to understand Someone to reach out their hand Too scared to hope, no one could feel as I do So alone I traveled with my heart of blue So many tears I cried Days I felt I had died Every hill seemed harder than the last Smile on face, haunted by the past I prepared myself to remain alone Searing pain that cuts to the very bone Everyone leaves, that's all I ever knew Then one fateful day I stumbled Into you You understand me in a way That leaves me speechless, no words to say You showed me your soul, a beautiful sight And now I see the glimpse of first light We are no longer alone, never to be again You have found in me your most cherished friend I will never let you down, never let you go For you saved me and I needed you to know I would give anything to see you So you could see my words are true For now my words will have to do I found my soul-mate...it's you "If you can dream it, you can achieve it" |

It's great to hear happy endings such as yours. An old Rodgers & Hart tune came to mind as I neared the end of your illustrative poetry. I liked the Marcels version best of all. The title was 'Blue Moon'. Most suitable for these pages and much more romantic than all the doom & gloom over the recent 'blood moon'. May you live happily ever-after friend 88's She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

It seems to happen when we least expect it. I'm glad for your happiness. Thanks for the nice read. |
