        My Love

My love for you …

is the first blossom
    of Spring,
the sweetest song-
bird chorus of dawn,
the sunbeams that
spin in every drop
of morning dew,
a breeze that sets
the willow leaves
    to dance,
the infinite beauty
in each soft summer
    sunset,
gentle moonlight
on new-fallen snow,
the joyful flame
that  even oceans
cannot quench,
and this poem …

for you, my love!
