On a beach burned the heart of a citadel, At eighteen they came from California, Of Iowa or Texas, the soft Florida, The day before they were propelled by the populated clouds, Their blood is more thick than the salt water, Their blood is younger than America, They are going to remain on Omaha the bloody, And the eyes will not see again any more the blue sky, They wear in the heart the rays of the sun, They are brave and die without questionning, On the sand so fine, so obnoxious, so ruby A bullet in the heart digs one thousand remorse, They die for an unknown country America offers the best of herself even His youth is mown on the bitter sand To return to a language the word liberté. |

Bravo! yann. I know that America can become a great country again. We just need a little change. Ida |

Applauds loudly! I'll never forget the sacrifice of young Americans on the beaches of Normandy. That sacrifice silenced the evil of the Nazi jackboot, and turned the history of Europe. I'll never forget the sacrifice of young Americans on the beaches of the Pacific and the skies over Midway. I'll never forget the sacrifice of all the young men, an indeed women, of all nations, who gave their lives to defeat the tyranny of the forties, wherever it raised its ugly head. Today should, indeed, be a day of national pride in the USA. |

Yes indeed, that was a terrible time for us, but it turned the tide and led to the destruction of madness. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
