as I stand here and gaze into the heavens this dark, somber inky sky oh yes . . . I see you my love my bright, shining Gibbous Moon the sinister dark cloud has moved on into the night allowing my moon to appear and I am one the heavens my spirituality has given me peace my heavenly lover for we are as one whether you are a piecemeal Crescent Moon timidly showing tantalizing parts of you we may only guess at what is hidden in the darkness which is you its as if you are having wicked fun at my expense reflection gives me the taste of you ©May 29, 2014 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ [This message has been edited by JerryPat2 (06-04-2014 12:12 PM).] |

Now I know what the dogs are singing when they howl at the moon! I liked this ode to the moon. Lori |

a fine 'write' for all us "moon-atics" out here! (my 'personal favorite' is that narrow crescent carving out its slice of star-field splendor) ... |

Thanks Bruce, I'm enamored by all phases the moon gives us. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
