(for hump day) Dawn is relentless in its coming of the day Earthquakes and hurricanes will not delay dawn’s arrival The sun always rises on time Dawn’s light may be late Still dawn is relentless bringing a new day |

Yes, Dawn is relentless, Lori, and today I'm again starting a bit late. You underscored the start of the day perfectly. ~*~ Why is bra singular and panties plural? ~*~ |

"hump" day is certainly relentless amid the "Runaway American Dream" ... |

The future waits for no one...The sad lament of a Sunday night. Good morning! Lori |

Bruce I believe Hump Day is an 'Island of Hope' in a work week of 'I Think I Can' make it to 'TGIF'. Lori |

Thanks Jo, Sometimes I get a better understanding of a poem from reading the comments and sometimes they are just plain funny. Thanks for the read and comment. |

Intense and comforting to a certain degree ... new hope arises with dawn's light. But sometimes after hurricanes and earthquakes the vision might reveal devastation that demands all our good will and optimism to move forward ... but our instinct of survival acts like a rising sun, we find a way out of darkness and start anew in the attempt to mend what is broken ... Thank you, dear Lori, you made me deeply appreciate the blue sky this morning! Love, Margherita |

Thank you Margherita for sharing your feelings on my poem. It started out as a early morning "I'm really not in the mood for work" poem. I'm delighted you found it to be much more uplifting. Lori |
