Springtime Bliss The misty mountain forest is cool, dark, and deep demanding nothing from the wanderer among a million trees and infinite clouds. These ancient rocks are the finest teachers speaking silent wisdom from a thousand vanished worlds in the ‘Deep-Time’ story. Here, only a drifting twilight moon is the heart’s pivot and true compass through the long silvered shadows, fragrant pines, and woodland waterfalls where a wild whispering wind chants an evening spirit-song of life, love, and loss to the lonely mind. What price could be placed on even one such moment of the ‘now' and this exquisite Springtime bliss? --- b. e. adams (4/19/2014) |

Ahhh . . . Who would even try to place a price on your lovely mountains, Bruce? They charge us nothing to wander within their boundaries as you yourself stated early in the poem. I really liked, "a drifting twilight moon is the heart’s pivot and true compass." ~*~ Love is friendship set on fire. ~*~ |
