If I could paint…. I would paint simply, in color, watering the canvas with tears, I’m sure. Simple colors, circumspect to auras that align our hips and spine, heart and mind as one living human soul. I dream of oils and waters, mixing, seeing rainbows under lights wanting to replicate them in real and tomorrow’s sunshine. It is so very hard for me to see dark. If I could paint, I would not paint Dark. © KRJ 3-21-14 |

Dark is not your nature nor your your style lady. But it is the contrast that gives you your brilliance. Lori |

Ahhh . . . Yours would be a bright and shining example for those to stare in fascination and amazement, but still, the dark might show itself in ways you would not believe it could. It would be subtle, but it would have to be there, for it is, unfortunately, a part of life. ~*~ Make of yourself a light.--Mary Oliver . . . ~*~ |

I know light cannot be without dark. And I really don't fear evil. I just cannot share evil, or write of it well, if at all. You are all so brilliant in your own light, and I treasure all of you. Thank you for reading, thank you for sharing your thoughts. |

Karilea!!!!!!!!! Of all your beautiful, beautiful poetry, this, in my humble opinion, is possibly the very, very best! Just one point of correction - you CAN and DO paint! You paint in all the colours and emotions of words! Who has need of a painting on canvas, when you paint like this in words! Owl |

I carried an undergrad. 'art major' as well as the science one and was a fairly good oil painter; however, I have always felt that the very 'finest' of the 'arts' is 'word-painting!' (particularly poetry) To me, 'words' seem to be the most enduring form of true magic in this sad, 'ol world. |

Diana, Gentlemen....thank you. I have been pulled away from the blue pages far too long, and probably for a while more. I miss you all, and appreciate it so much when you comment on all of the brief moments. Sending out love.... K |
