don’t ask why she is so depressed there are no answers I mean there’s no clear-cut way to answer that question besides it might send her into a deeper blackness for you see depression is like a slow moving storm it just is it creeps upon her those of you who are immune from depression become frustrated trying to understand her blackness lassitude, bleakness and aloneness she goes through but if you possibly can make sure you are there if she breaks through her blackness she understands it is difficult being an acquaintance to a depressed person still . . . if you can be her friend it will be a very compassionate and righteous thing if you can be there for her

Depression is like a 'dark wolf' companion for life. Unsolicited company, but always nearby.
Important 'write' on an 'oft neglected topic.

I've never suffered from it, or if I did it was a fleeting thing, but I know people who do live with it. Depression is an insidious thing which causes you to doubt your own sanity. Thanks for in input, Bruce. If the mob governs, man is ruled by ignorance; if the church governs, he is ruled by superstition; if the state governs, he is ruled by fear.

It's like a vortex that sucks you in, not unlike quicksand, and just as difficult to get out of.
Even worse, if you happen to be a parent of someone who has gone thru that.
Well portrayed, Jerry.

Yes, I agree with you, CG, it is what you say it is. Thank you for reading my work being gracious to give your input. Depression is the disease, I have found out, that keeps on giving. Unfortunately. If the mob governs, man is ruled by ignorance; if the church governs, he is ruled by superstition; if the state governs, he is ruled by fear.
