I’m a minor player as a poet I’m less than some by that I mean I recognize how far I have developed as a poet I understand my wordplay doesn’t necessarily kiss the sky with sparkling brilliance ahhh . . . still, if you hold my words close enough the inner me can be heard faintly while others with a more subtle penmanship strike the right chords making even the complexity of love definable I am but a near empty husk moving along my rutted path toward the grave leaving behind raw words some deem offensive hell some I deem offensive smelling like that cheap California burgundy I have a preference for still, I do the best that I can do there are even times I shake my fist toward the sky

I hope that you have all your important things in order- Eulogy and epitaph written-those are your last shots to get your fist shaking and love verbage out there. You never know they may be your most shining projects.

I guess they could be at that, Lori, but I'll leave the eulogy and epitaphs to others. Always appreciate you comments.~*~ There was a sign on the lawn at a drug re-hab center that said 'Keep off the Grass'. ~*~
