The lunar moon bids me farewell: And it comes to me where I dwell. The dawn is about to unroll, Seems to pluck at my very soul. The moon affects my Poeish nights, Dawn will soon make everything bright. Goodnight moon; a lovers’ retreat, Good morning dawn, I meekly greet. ©March 1, 2014 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ There was a sign on the lawn at a drug re-hab center that said 'Keep off the Grass'. ~*~ |
