Hi! I'm Horst Buchender and I've had this penchant for digging since I buried my sister's Barbie in my sandbox She didn't complain as much as my sister did Her eyes were open and bright Mom missed one, but not the other It grew with me, this...'penchant' I still have all my old shovels My new ones are ergonomic which increases production The sods are so much greener I sometimes miss that old sandbox though Without regular use it became rancid from urinating dogs that would stray onto the property Catching them after the fact taught me to love tempura Recycling is in everyone's best interest Now that I'm semi-retired I've grown fond of investing Everyone seems to agree that real estate is the major wave Good ground, that's for me The only rocks worth a tinker's damn are in the rings and necklaces I find Good ground though, that's for me. You'd think I'd grow out of it wouldn't you? Oh well, everyone needs a hobby Touch, but don't look |

Forgive me Jack Napes, but the only digging I do is for posts which have no reply. I found this one way back on page 20. To say that I found this poetry profoundly dark is an opinion in which many may agree. Having said that, I also read a good deal of humor in it. You wrote your twisted tale allowing the reader (me) to fill in the morbid details. I guess that says a little something for my 'shady' self but it was your work that made me think on the 'dark side'. 88's on intrigue and suspense friend. She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |
