Here Comes March! Bumper crop a comin’ Tulips, their noses thumbin’ Crocus leaves are surely strummin’ in the breezes that are lately comin’ Makin’ pendulums of hangin’ pots Checkin’ for damaged spots I’m thinkin’ it’s time for huntin’ As there’s posies missin’ Fortunately they’ll likely be Just a little east of me Artificial they truly are And hope they’ve not gone far. ©Virginia Salter March 5, 2014 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, I'll seek the lighthouse evermore. |

Heh.Heh Sounds like you are good and ready for March to turn the brutal cold around and flowers are what takes up peoples time, not shovelin' snow out of the walkway. You've got lots of company, Virginia. ~*~ There was a sign on the lawn at a drug re-hab center that said 'Keep off the Grass'. ~*~ |

Structured as pretty as a Ming Vase! Great read covering some 'homey' aspects of Spring. Touch, but don't look |

Thanks, both for popping in and reading. Thanks for your comments, too. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

March is here, but to me it just means more snow. Bit your poem made me cheer up knowing... Winter won't last forever |
