The Sweetest Sound in Town If I could kiss the ground she stood on I believe I could, if she insisted for sure I would, my goal being, to reach her precious lips, lovely lips to kiss, such lovely lips to kiss, lips that could whisper the sweetest sounds in town, sweet sounds I loved to hear every time she was near; I would gladly put another quarter in the jukebox if it would play her voice over and over again, she always seemed to give to me the sweetest sounds in town and I truly miss those sounds since she's not in town. Understood, James, but if you have to kiss the ground she stood on just for a "chance" to kiss her lips, I have a pretty good feeling that you would be jumping through her hoops whenever she wanted, and whatever she wanted. Maybe that would be what you wanted, but it would be a sad, sad life. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

It is amazing the effect the voice of the one we adore can have on us. Just the sound of them saying our name can make our heart skip a beat. ~L |
