It was a night caressed by warm summer breezes
whose fingers were eager to do just what pleases
The waters were tranquil and calm

The stars shone so brightly
yet touched my eyes lightly
Moonbeams danced in sarongs

Their ballroom was grand
and each grain of sand
reflected great crystalline splendor

Huge columns of stone
stood all alone
what they've seen no man can remember

But for their uses
I found no excuses
when searching my soul for content

'Til I can be free
and she comes for me
it's all memories which I have spent

One ladle serves the soup that feeds the mouths of the many.

Good line here Boomer. It conjures up visions of Easter Island.

Loving Linny Jean is poetry.

Be-u-ta-ful, man. What stunning verses. All of them. You had to be possessed when writing this masterpiece!

You know how I feel about what you write!

I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather...not like the passengers screaming in the back of his car.
