Autumn Intimations dark, clear skies over moonlit mountains chill winds from this lake of dreams falling rainbow leaves and cicada singing a thousand evening hopes and Winter fears ... brittle hints of summer passing --- b. e. adams (the "Second-hand-dream" poet) |

The snows are still aways off and I look for splendid fall colors this year, for all the moisture we've had. Loving Linny Jean is poetry. |

those hints become more definitive with each day passing after Summertime. I can feel a tinge of both beauty and sadness here, and can relate as well |

Thanks, EmmaRose ! [Autumn seems a rather 'bittersweet' season to me ... and the time when the 'veil' seems thinnest between 'worlds within worlds' (or different dimensions, etc.) and between myself and my Celtic ancestors] |

Bittersweet. Exactly how I think of fall, Bruce. |

Autumn does have that nostalgic effect indeed1 (it seems to accentuate the realization of transience and change ... the only certain certainties) ! |
