The Footprints of Time Moonlit shadows dance in the deepening twilight to a soft Summer breeze. The years of this life are the evening mist. A loon cries somewhere in the wilderness to the rising moon and all things passing into the infinite void. In ten thousand tomorrows I could not forget your smile or your laughter on a gentle afternoon. May we choose to walk together now, this cloud and tempest world ... following in the footprints of Time. --- b. e. adams |
