You were always as a tiny island in a vast sea of my dreams Shipwrecked, I floated about in that rolling, turbulent sea for year after year until finally washing up upon your warm, sandy shore You were there waiting all along Had a single wave been differently placed, I may have floated by and simply perished without ever seeing you or knowing you Who then would know of our heartaches? Who would love you and I so deeply and eternally as you and I love one another? God knows, of all the tragedies that have ever been in this world, all that are and all that will be, there is one less because of His mercy ...you and I Linny honey, you and I "An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break." --An ancient Chinese belief Loving Linny Jean is poetry. |

Got my Mojo working, Ari, to keep you and Linny safe and forever together! ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

So many thanks Lori and Jerry for your kind words in reply, and a special thanks to you Jerry for that "mojo". Anyone who's ever been 'adrift' knows the value having with them anything that floats. Thanks again to you both. Loving Linny Jean is poetry. |

Try to use 'you' and 'I' less, especially in the title. Wonderful, poetic biography, if perhaps, a tad sieved. |

Why would I want to do that Red? Loving Linny Jean is poetry. |

ahhhh, Ari, I have always believed we cross each others paths, even for a brief moment, for an exchange of words in a restaurant over coffee...twas meant to be...fate is such a miracle, and BTW, loved this poem. Thank you...for writing and sharing this heartfelt gem. |

Metaphorical romanticism at it's poetic best. Now, if only one could merge a parallel reality, that would be quite the love affair. Touch, but don't look |

If Columbus would have felt that way when he came ashore, things may have turned out differently. The Indians never had a chance. ...just bein' Bluesy |
