Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Getting what we deserve
and Karma
comes crashing to mind.
So, I beg of you be kind.
I like to think I am.
But in soul searching times
I have found
it hasn’t
always been true.
Hindsight being what it is
and of course
Perspective.
Ah, perspective…
Perspective is a rainbow of shoes
to walk in.
Had I to walk back and do
a day over,
I’d choose a different shoe.
The ones I had on
had been self-serving
and I felt so deserving
and they hurt
more than just me
they hurt you.

Yeah, I guess most of us would like to change shoes when it comes right down to it many times. I know for sure I would. Ah . . . If it would only be that easy to repair hurts by merely changing shoes . . .

Point being, which shoes make you unkind? Or better yet, which shoes brings out the kindness in you? It is different for each of us. ~L

Just a pair of moccasins would do, if they weren't always mine.

Loving Linny Jean is poetry.

You must have a plethora of shoes.
(My favorite pair have holes, and fit loose).

Nice write, Lori!!

I try other people's shoes on when I can. Trying to see things from other perspectives is something my brain wanders off to do on occasion. ~L
