I know that love is mere' her scent It lingered there as I awoke As into love's warm-breast ascent I died on every word she spoke For every second that we spent No other could such joy evoke Great artists' dreams could not enhance Her beauty in that black shift dress When gifted of her claiming glance No ounce of love could I suppress So know that I will ever dance In her undying tenderness The softness of her inner thighs The fruits of love that tantalise My whispered name on entry sighs Sweet passion reached, no compromise Those melting sapphires in her eyes That's love, I've come to realise. This is one of, if not THE, best poem of love I have ever friggin' read, man. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

"I died on every word she spoke" Perfectly put. I've felt the same way many times myself. "So know that I will ever dance In her undying tenderness" Now that is a killer line, the kind I'd give my right arm to have written. Beautiful stuff all around. Great work.
