Her Best Friend Once I listened to a song that claimed true Love was wonderful and couldn't be wrong; but later I discovered for myself it can, it can, it surely can, if their are essential parts of Love that you failed to understand; like the giving of the heart, giving it too fast is not very smart, because the object of your love may still be hanging around home plate, and in your silly head you may be thinking, for no good reason you hit a home run, while she is busy telling the umpire and her best friend that you and your silly love, just struck out... Yes indeed, James, this is true artful thoughts on our loving and what happens afterward. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

For even in the tragedy of rejected love and the humiliation of ridicule, there is still a breath of humor in your fine work James. Imagine anyone trying to 'talk' to an umpire. Loving Linny Jean is poetry. |

The age-old question. Never let anything slip by if it bothers you. Get an answer. If you are giving all, you deserve the same in return. |
