Even in that coldest the sun did shine. When the wind was still, warmth came weeping tears from ice. Blinding brilliance frozen into long daggers of crystalline commemoratives. The prism’s purloined hues danced on beaming rays and shimmered upon a sky that appeared endlessly blue. LGR 3/8/13 |

Yes, this does sound familiar. You write about the wind so vividly as it caresses the ice tears. And the beaming rays against the sky so blue. Excellent! ~*~ It's not that the man did not know how to juggle, he just didn't have the balls to do it. ~*~ |

Thanks Jerry! I ran across it and didn't remember it and thought it was pretty good (I was surprised I wrote it) It seemed fitting so I ran it up the flag pole again! Lori |

I'm glad you ran it up that flag pole the second time, I have a feeling it impacted me more the second time around, which happens frequently doesn't it? Yes it is good, and no you shouldn't be surprised you wrote it, you are a damn fine poet. ~*~ It's not that the man did not know how to juggle, he just didn't have the balls to do it. ~*~ |
