A straggle of lowered downcast eyes Sheltered from the sand stung skies A mother soothes her infants’ cries As nations concerns turn into lies ~ So many forgotten, so many neglected All of the lost- the lonely- rejected No one to turn to who listen or care, Can anyone hear us, is anyone there? |

Just a sad state of affairs all he way around. Seems funny to me that the oil rich regimes in that part of the world would want to do something for these people. But no, they send them somewhere else. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Cari - The oppressors always hear the victim's lament Cari. They just never listen until historically the revolt arrives to knock down the door. Who makes the exodus then! Intriguing work. Namyh |

Yes they’re no ones enemies but they pay the same price. I’m reminded of a picture from a napalm attack in the Vietnam War of a screaming woman running carrying the burnt out shell of her baby. I’d like to think that was the moment when America took a deep breath and said ‘We shouldn’t be doing this’ Cari. |
