In my youth I had all the answers Wielding the sword of simplicity To the vagaries of life With absolute conviction Then I grew up |

Ha! The more my eyes are opened, the more I wish they never were... A pity, indeed. Michael |

Eh . . . Many of us are in the same boat, Cari. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Could be that your last line contains your first mistake. It can sneak up on you when you're looking elsewhere. Keep kicking the can even when no one shows up. More feelings and fewer words please |

Yeah, in your teens when girls were a box of chocolates, one is nice, but there’s a hell of a lot left in the box. Then off to the Emerald Isle where the old girls dragged their bloody cats in when we walked by and a second hand Playboy Mag isn’t the same is it? |

Reading this I wonder if we grow up only to learn how to over-complicate things. Thanks, a thought provoking read. |

Growing up is a choice, some people just grow older. It is hard not to get jaded by life. Harsh realities are hard to accept and harder still to understand sometimes. Still, in all there is that inner child that would take us by the hand and lead us to those roses that bring us wonders of life and uplift us. ~L |

Me - I'm still waiting for that moment of revelation - I've grown up! , yet secretly wishing I'll never see the day . . . enjoyed... j. |
