Mirages crowd my dreams. I travel lost in time floating in whirling space free from all dimensions no boundaries to cross.
My life is mere puff of air which I can put on hold. with eyes still closed, I feel my senses drifting blind not seeing the tunnel’s end.
False echoes of nothing reverberate around - the real world may be beyond wisps of vapor closing in upon me.
I have the face of one looking at the unknown a forest of dying sunflowers, growing claws piercing my dream bubble.
I think it’s much safer to cuddle my pillow let the leaves whisper a lullaby, and the walls enfold and embrace me.

Each stands on its own as fine and even intriguing poetry jjote. As a whole, I find them seamlessly connected.More feelings and fewer words please

Oh my, jjote, that last stanza was/is/forever-will-be the coolest icing on the cake concerning your very well-written trip within your thoughts concerning your midnight tunnel.
~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~
