Gulls scream their carrion cries Circling with stiff and frozen wings Tip feathers finger the rising air Glide, ride, the spiralling thermals ~ Waves born in the ocean whirlpool Flying spangled spindrift banners Roaring, rolling, defiant thunder, Crashing to oblivion on the wild west wind ~ The probing tide eludes the sentinels Seeking out the granite caverns Seeping through clandestine tunnels To reach a deep forgotten secret ~ Rock pools provide a living oasis Scuttling crabs and skipping shrimps Cloud the jade green opalescence Tranquillity welcomes the ebbing tide |

What a colorful, incredible ride this poetry of yours is Cari. You must be extremely sensitive to your own environs and those you've traveled to in order to interpret them to such a fine-tuned degree. Cheers. More feelings and fewer words please |
