    Unrequited Love
   (for all who have
     ever lost, and
     'been lost' in
       Love)

Down all the countless
years of ever-rolling
seasons,
your silhouette shall fall
across each page in Life’s
endless symphony of
  goodbyes,
written in a script of
the star-swept skies,
beyond all earthly
music and Time,
where tears become
an illimitable ocean
of silent regrets
and memory-dreams
gather in an eternally
bittersweet bouquet
of unrequited Love.

Rarely melancholy is rendered so beautifully, dear Bruce.

And ... love is always a precious gift for those who receive it, but also for those who give it. And even the ocean of tears is kissed by the sun and healed.
