It was a gentle rain that fell on that sweet spot in Texas. Wildflowers accented the back yard with lavenders and magentas Joyful gurgles came from the little pond filling the sweet smelling air. Parrot’s Feather waited to bloom alongside Lilly pads. Amaryllis just days from bloom lies in wait in a painted pot by the back deck door. Everywhere the eye touches there are pots and plants, this and that d’art of color and life. The easy setting of chairs made comfortable for reminiscing laughter |

Ahhh . . . Lori, you made the trip sound completely wonderful . . . I'm so happy you have such beautiful memories . . . ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

The RV gave us all kinds of engine trouble all the way there...almost didn't make it. But our host had an ace mechanic to get us going again. Then less than 30 miles from home we blew a spark plug. Luckily we had a friend that could bring us one and we made it home. Then it took us an hour and a half to get back in the house. The keys wouldn't work in the lock....We had a neighbor break in for us. Visiting our friends in Austin however, was heaven! Weather was perfect! Good food, good friends, good times. ~L |
