I try to drift into the dust of sleep but my weak mind starts to play tricks on me aware that as darkness wraps around me glimmers of nightmarish dreams taunt at me Night looms ahead like an eternity I feel the darkness throbbing upon me a sorcerer casting a net on me holding me fascinated by its spell. Despair clutches me in mental freefall sucking refuse into a well of black my breath dissipates into the shadows unraveling deep emotional threads I crave for the moon on a cloudless sky the pink flush of dawn poised over the sea. @jjote 03/03/16 [This message has been edited by jjote (03-03-2016 12:48 AM).] |

No one should ever spend the nights you write of alone, though from great pain and great fear comes my kind of poetry. It makes one feel...and think. Splendid. ...just bein' Bluesy |

There is sunshine just around the corner, jjote. I know that is an old phrase, but it is one which harbors much truth. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |
