Go We agreed remember, it’s over The flames died, the fire is dead So why do you breath on the embers? Litter my apartment with memories Scatter your flotsam through the lonely rooms ~ I’m struggling to delete you from my life But you’re not helping Laundered pillows still carry your perfume You continue to invade my dreams Ignoring the Keep Out sign ~ Friends look at me with sadden eyes Comfort me with platitudes I don’t need this Loosen the bonds, remove the chains Just go woman Go * * * |

Eh, this is a poem after my own heart. If we could not be besotted with their scents, even their presence when they are not there, we would finally get some rest over the matter. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

I get a feeling you really don't want her to go despite trying to erase memories of her. So maybe you can still win her back. |

You can say "go" all you want.. But she will never leave, even if you "check out" "We (you) are programmed to receive. You can check-out any time you like, But you can never leave!" Hotel California- Eagles Composers- Don Henley, and Glenn Frey enjoyed |
