The Silent Wings of Spring Trees draped in soft silver mist under a cold-bright mountain moon. Here beyond the distant sound of evening bells and the realms of man, Winter lingers without compassion in the hidden crags and corners of this ancient forest world; and yet, there are hints of anticipation in a thousand infinitesimally tiny things of changes slipping gently through the wilderness on the silent wings of Spring. --- b. e. adams (2/22/2014) |

Yep. Spring is less than a month away. Soon the bad winter will just be a memory. Life will blossom and procreate. ~*~ It's not that the man did not know how to juggle, he just didn't have the balls to do it. ~*~ |

Such a beautiful way to welcome spring, Bruce. And it will surely be welcome this year. Ida |

thanks folks! ... there is though, unfortunately, some meteorological evidence of the possibility for at least one more 'polar dome' (arctic vortex) deep-freeze event especially for eastern N. America this Winter. |

The anticipation of Spring, knowing how near it is, shall overcome! (I told myself that after checking the forecast!) Splendid reading! (your poetry, not the forecast) ...just bein' Bluesy |

"there are hints of anticipation in a thousand infinitesimally tiny things of changes slipping gently through the wilderness on the silent wings of Spring." That is exactly the miracle that we call spring! Very much enjoyed Bruce! Lori |
