Is it in the pocket of those old blue jeans you've had since the age of seventeen?
Is it in the backseat where you both made promises?
Is it in the stair well outside your apartment?

Or maybe it's on the radio when that song plays and you know every word...
Or maybe it's in the book you are reading...
Or maybe it's on a napkin that you used while cleaning up that spill on the kitchen floor...

Could it be in the poem you're reading?
Could it be in the closet next to your pile of dirty clothes?
Could it be in the livingroom sitting on the couch near the pillow that is loosing it's stuffing?

No wait it's probably in the fridge, next to the soda in the door.
No wait it's in the passenger seat of your car..
No wait it's in the text you got a few days ago.

Here's my answer, it's in the most unexpected place, so embrace it. Enjoy it. Most importantly, don't be afraid of it.

I think wherever "it" is and whatever "it" may be, at least you're searching.

Nice read.

Love is all there is ... yet we tend to forget this truth! So after searching for it here and there as you do in your lovely poem ... we may just sit down and imagine to be wrapped in love and permeated by it. Ahhhhhhh .... the well is in our heart and soul. We can tap into this divine richness of love whenever we want to refresh our awareness and our gratitude for this immense gift.

Enjoyed your searching.

Loved your closing lines especially.  Such a great poem, very unique and just plain fun to read.
