She stands between
me and the twilight
like a guardian angel.
Patient, tireless, resolute.
Always on duty.
She is banking Karma coins
at home
where charity begins.

Hi there. It's good to see your name here.  As always I enjoy your short verse poetry.  Love the subtle messages you tuck in so sweetly.

Hope you are well, Ida.

I have had a few health issues that have kept me off the site for a while but I am doing much better.

Your daughter will become rich in Karma coins...Beyond her imagination, as she projects the true meaning of Namaste, she will be rewarded greatly.

Love this little poem...its words are much bigger than the space they take up...

Thank you all for your lovely comments. Today is my daughter's birthday and this is part of her birthday present. No one could ask for a better daughter and yes, she is building great Karma.

Dear Ida, when you can't see your reply, it is necessary to reload the page, then it will appear. I have to do that every time I write a comment, otherwise I can't see it. I don't know the reason for this, maybe it is a question of cookies ...

Much love and hugs. Have a beautiful Sunday!

That's beautiful, my friend - a true and heartfelt expression - one sorely neglected by many that assume it's their right.

But you truly understand it's not a right. You feel the love, compassion, understanding and true beauty of another's gift to you.

Deep bow from me . . .

Margherita and Ida - me too on the page reloading, has been that way for at least a couple of years.  But it works.
