Beauty of the Coconut Trees

As the waves
come washing to the shore
I play my ukulele
to the woman I adore
and as she smiles I sing a song,
and she keeps smiling and softly sings along
to the words of my warm and romantic love song;
our song tells a story
of two lovers never wishing to part,
because they truly love each other
with all of their hearts;
as I sing this song
she sings along,
as I tell her of my hopes and dreams
it seems to be a sweet love song,
so I tell her as long as the waves
come to this shore,
she will be the woman I adore,
and I tell her how she touches my heart
and fulfills all my dreams
among other romantic things;
the moon seems to be in agreement
with her and me,
shining on us brightly as we sing
among the coconut trees,
and now they seem to sway along with our song,
almost like they want to sing along,
sharing our song on the sandy shore,
under the silky moon,
my sweetheart and me,
and the beauty of
the coconut trees.

Oh, but of course the trees sing along, dear James.

This is truly enchanting, I am smiling in appreciation of your sweet love poem!

Love,

James, keep the serenading going, just be careful - kipping an eye out for falling coconuts.

Excellent writing, my friend.
