Very concise, but with powerful impact, Michael. Though I believe in transition into another level of existence, that special moment of leaving our body still carries its load of anxiety and as you say, sometimes we feel its closeness ... it's like being suspended in no space and time for a split second. It's the lucky ones who pass within the space of a "flutter". There are those whose eyes never close. Imagine. Good poetry friend. She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |
