What has happened to your love, poor thing?
You’re empty, done
Close your eyes
If he doesn't deserve you to live for him
He’s not worth dying for either

This is yet another sad one, but at least it has an opening of the eyes to maybe a better future.

Amen.  When something inside you has died, you still go on living.  Realizing it's not you yourself who has died though is something many people struggle with, and some never achieve.  The choice to go on living is a conscious one.  You summed this up very nicely.

Thank you, my friends, for reading and commenting!
As one guy said "... it is the turn in your poem which allows for interpretation."

When I wrote these words I sooner meant the alternative idea: when you love, you won't betray this world and your beloved people, won't reject everything, you'll be strong.
Still unrequited love is love, and love is patient. But when you don't love, then what's the point in dying? While someone keeps me sane, I should remember it, shouldn't I? )
