Fair to middlin' of nowhere

A friend of mine
held up a mirror for me,
allowing me to see
something between my teeth.

My judgmental tongue…

Yes mon cher, this friend which held the mirror up to you was at the same time viewing the 'Currier & Ives' side.

Fortune cookie say, "be wary of faces not seen in mirror".

Au revoir mon cher amie

Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me!

I would say that you are as wise as your friend, dear Lori, your reaction confirms this.  I have once dared to "hold the mirror", I really meant well, but I was punished with ferocious rejection. No doubt we all are continuously tempted to judge, only the very wise ones succeed in not falling into this trap, but it's something to work on for a lifetime I think.

It's also a question of not hurting others, but sometimes we can't just watch others doing this. So we judge and we are judged. It's a delicate matter!

So much to ponder here!

Love,
Margherita
