Perhaps this life is looking for its end in me Like grasping for a goldfish in pitch black waters A chasm for every grain of sand each unlike the other no needs, no cares no knowledge not a moment known to pass Perhaps this life is just looking for an end and finding it in me Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |

Capo my dear, I don't believe I care for your tone here, you sound forlorn. We can't have that. Take two Idas and call me in the morning... ~L |

I can absolutely relate, Mr Martini . . . But tomorrow is another day . . . Sun may be shining then . . . ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

quote:This may very well be true for you Martini, but you know how I feel...I mean, you know how I feel about spreading rumors. I'd take Miss Lori's advice if I were you and see your 'pharmacist' as soon as possible. 88's bud! She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

Merci beaucoup mon cher Lori Rhoden. If anything is left of me after "two Ida's", I'll give you a jingle. Just don't expect much. Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |

Perhaps! Perhaps Life's desire to be LIVED is stronger than your melancholy. Now imagine the goldfish in pure crystal waters and feel your heartbeat as the most wondrous tune ... No, I tell you, it's too soon ... and who says it (life) ends? It transforms! But not yet, I agree with Jan! Your poem is thought provoking and intriguing, makes me want to uplift you though.
