I found a place
That's full of grace
Not far from here
Lend me your ear
I shall explain
Its down a lane
A crooked road
Has no zip code
A Hideaway
Where we can stay
We'll have some fun
And when we're done
We'll go back home
Where we came from

"Lend me your ear!" ...

Temptations of youth, Jerry!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Youthful temptations, Margherita, some were highly charged and very passionate. Some, however lead down a troublesome word. How we lived through these temptations (some did not) I'll never know.

When I would run off to our little spot with my 'gal pal', there were no zip codes!

...but she had a father who frequently cross-examined me like Perry Mason!

She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast".

Ah, Ticklefingers, as well he should have, I'm sure you developed the same winning personality you have shown us here at PiP. Of course being the gentleman you were, and still are, you refrained telling him his daughter was the sort that would sate herself come what may . . .

Yes, you are correct, Rain, the true meaning of this one is whatever you think it is and where this "Place to Go" is . . . Thank you for your rad and comment.

It's charming!
Like love lyrics and children's rhymes at the same time!
Simple and beautiful, intriguing and comforting )
Well done!

This the cuteyist poem you ever wrote I'll bet! I really like it a lot Jerrypat2!

It was just a thought which made them run. It was just an act that killed them.
