we danced as leaves flirting at the sweep of the wind's interception embracing by accident crisscrossing in shadow neither written in permanence nor destined for immortality dancing as leaves, flirting by happenstance only to collaborate upon the kindness of the winds. Excellent lines within the confines of this stellar poem, Emma. Your poetical way with words is absolutely on display here. Thank you for sharing this beauty. ~*~ All that we send into the lives of others comes back into our own. ~*~ |

Thank you for this one. Not every encounter has to be earth-shaking in order to be memorable. I enjoyed the whimsy, and appreciate the feeling. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

Beautiful...captured well. Whimsical as the winds of Fate. Never know where the next gust may take us... Too bad the Winter seems to come... ...too soon. CG |

To enhance what James says: it is an extreme pleasure to read this excellent poem. I actually merged with your words and danced along. Margherita |
