The Eternal Dream of Love

As Life’s colors wash away
with the cold December rain
leaving this world of grey and
brown desolation lost in the
  fog of Autumn passing
the lonely mind and spirit-heart,
taking hold of nothingness,
drift away with the shadows.
Yet, beyond all desire, illusion,
  and sorrows of the past
there is still the eternal dream
  of Love.

For better or worse, I take the good with the bad with the changing seasons, as yourself and others do, of course. But you Mr. Adams, find a unique line or two through the storms to reflect on love with graciousness and sincerity.
