The Buzz Saw Blues |

Love to have a thrill With my Hilti hammer drill While singing the Buzz Saw Blues Lobotomy dirge Not a discouraging word While singing the Buzz Saw Blues "Buzz saw Blues, Buzz Saw Blues Rippin' an' a tear'n from their hat to their shoes Keep the rhythm cookin' boy an' don't blow a fuse All the while singin' these Buzz Saw Blues" They were fit to be tied With a pilaf on the side While singing the Buzz Saw Blues A hand of one suit In a mill of ill repute All singing the Buzz Saw Blues "Buzz saw Blues, Buzz Saw Blues Rippin' an' a tear'n from their hat to their shoes Keep the rhythm cookin' boy an' don't blow a fuse All the while singin' these Buzz Saw Blues" Losers would be split In their thinking when they quit All singing the Buzz Saw Blues Happy as a Lark Amongst all the flying bark While singing the Buzz Saw Blues "Buzz saw Blues, Buzz Saw Blues Rippin' an' a tear'n from their hat to their shoes Keep the rhythm cookin' boy an' don't blow a fuse All the while singin' these Buzz Saw Blues" Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! This is very well crafted, but to me the sound of a saw is one of the most frightening ones. When I hear it, fear grabs me, mostly it makes me think of trees falling which brings sadness, but it also brings thoughts of general danger. I can't associate "happy" to your Blues ... again you brought shivers and thoughts of pitiless deeds. Margherita |

Well crafted and with good rhythm, evokes the right sort of feeling I think, quite brutal, not a poem that brings any comfort. Thanks for the read. Pete. |

Admittedly Mr. Martini, the lyrics are a bit, well. shall we say 'off the wall' (especially that freaked-out chorus), but it does flow well. 'Three chords and a cloud of dust' would likely make it a Halloween staple. Kind of like "Monster Mash". 88's friend She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |
