Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Heartsleeve opened a bottle of her favorite rhubarb wine.
She poured a large glass and walked barefoot to the chaise.
She was fully intent on settling in with her wine and memories
until she reached that sweet sought after haze.
She wished to remember an earlier her when she was so fine.
Or so it seemed as she sipped her way through old glories.
Like the night on the dunes in the moon light
and that bikini that fit her oh so right.
And that time in Jamaica they danced all night.
She wore that dress with no secrets it was so tight.
She smiled to herself at the thought of it.
Surprised her glass was empty; she’d drank all of it.
She was quite warm and relaxed by now,
thought she would enjoy some company, and how!
A someone of the male persuasion
is what she was needing for this particular occasion.
Strange how she hadn’t felt this way in so long,
her longing had never been so strong.
But she had no idea who…
What was she to do?
Too tipsy to drive.
She had to get out, it was eating her alive.
She felt like climbing a wall.
Reaching for the phone to make a call,
before she could get it, it began to ring.
When she heard the voice on the other end, bells began to ding.
A blast from the past out of the blue,
smooth as silk she purred, “Oh, it’s you,”
“how sweet of you to call!”
“No, I wasn’t doing anything at all”
“I’m great, everything is fine.”
“Say, would you like to come by for a glass of wine?”

Uh, is that the cheap California burgundy wine, Heartsleeve, or something on the higher end of the grape?
