At night I welcome the quiet it sinks into all the fibers of my being, I luxuriate in it, soak my soul in darkness. I polish my self-pity and it grows and glows like an idol I worship it as it becomes my perverse kind of destiny A nightmare marionette watches folding its arms in the corner mocking all my indecisions the weak compromises I make. Let me stay in this vacuum if only for tonight, let not a peek of sun enter my world indulge me, hold back the morning. @jjote 11182015 [This message has been edited by jjote (11-19-2015 12:02 AM).] |

"At night I welcome the quiet it sinks into all the fibers of my being, I luxuriate in it, soak my soul in darkness". Kindred spirits. I'm also quite fond of puppet shows. Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |

Night, the great simplifier and releaser of thoughts, enjoyed teasing my way through this. Thanks Pete |

Oh yes, the night can thoroughly usable as delving into deep thought, and then again it can bring dreaded, uncontrollable fear! ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

I let my thoughts torment me in broad daylight (all the better to see them with my dear) and sleep like the dead at night...except for those pesky nightmares... ~L |
