Life is like chocolate… It can be bitter or sweet. Life is like the wilderness… Rugged or serene. Life is like a story… It can be short or complete. Life is like a city street… Exciting or mean. Life is like a train… It can be fast or slow. Life is like a cookie… Crumby or full of nuts. Life is like an ocean… It can be a cresting wave or undertow. Life is like your nose… You only have one, no ifs, ands or buts. LGR©11/4/15 |

Life is like Miss Lori's poem It may stay or it may roam Life is knots were it not so One deep breath then let it go Splendidly inspiring poetry Miss Lori. ...Sorta makes me want to watch 'Forrest Gump' instead of my usual dailies. 88's 'fer fun She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

Thanks TF, I had hoped to write something a little more serious but I couldn't quite pull it off and had to default to humor. ~L |

Jo you are right...but you have to believe it...or at least understand it or you make your life according to everyone else. The sooner you learn that life lesson the better. ~L |

Lorie, I understand your feelings and thoughts. Most women deeply feel they are here to take care of others. Sometimes it is never ending.I have to remind my self that I knew when I married and had children that it was a life time commitment. I have never been able to just walk away especially after I became a widow. There were still adult children who have needs. So here I am. I also never thought I would still be around to be able to help out.So I manage to keep that smile. love to you, Jo |

I think I will take on the cookies...maybe I can outbake them. Hugs, friend. |
